Can I use Nanny Admin without my employer needing to use it?

Yes! Nannies can track everything independently without your family needing to download or use the app. You’ll just need to create a family in the app yourself (this only takes a moment) and add the children you care for. All your records will be tagged to that family automatically. If your employer ever wants to join later, you can invite them as a family member and they’ll see everything you’ve already tracked.

What if I can't find the invitation code to join a family?

The invitation code is sent by email when the family owner invites you from within the app. If you haven’t received it, here’s what to try:

  1. Ask the family owner to send (or resend) the invitation: Families > Members > tap the add icon > enter your email address > Send invitation
  2. Check your spam or junk folder, as invitation emails sometimes land there

If the email still doesn’t come through, contact us and we’ll help sort it out.

What is Nanny Admin, and how does it work?

Nanny Admin is a mobile app that helps nannies and families track time, leave, expenses, and trips to simplify payroll preparation and records. Learn more.

Does the app allow me to track records for multiple families?

Yes, nannies can join multiple families, and their Record and Summary reports can be filtered by family for easy tracking.

Can I generate reports for a custom date range?

Yes, tap Summary, and adjust the date filter. By default, the report is set to This month. Learn more.

Can I log overtime separately from a regular shift?

Yes, you can log overtime as a Time record from the Add page. Select Overtime and enter the start and end times to continue. Learn more.
