How to add children to a family

In Nanny Admin, children must be added to a family profile before records can be created. Only family owners can add children. Follow this guide to set up child profiles correctly.

1. Open the Families section

  • Tap Families from the bottom navigation menu.
  • If you are part of multiple families, select the one you want to add children to.

2. Add a child

  • Tap the In care tab.
  • Tap the add icon to the right.
  • Complete the child’s details:
    • Name
    • Date of birth
    • Photo (optional)
    • Allergy information (if applicable)

3. Save the child profile

  • Tap Add child to save.
  • The child will now appear in the In care section and can be tagged in any Time, Expense and Trip records.

Important notes

  • Children can only be added via the Families section
  • Once added, children cannot be transferred to another family. Ensure the correct family is selected before adding them.
