How to add records
You can add four types of records in Nanny Admin: Time, Leave, Expenses, and Trips. Each record helps track key details about day-to-day work and ensures everything is correctly recorded.
1: Choose the record type
- Tap Add from the bottom navigation.
- Select one of the following record types:
- Add Time – Track working hours e.g. shifts or overtime.
- Add Leave – Track holidays and other time off.
- Add Expenses – Track childcare-related expenses.
- Add Trips – Track trips and mileage owed.
2: Complete the required fields
- Each form has slightly different fields to fill in.
- Fields marked with an asterix (*) are required to ensure accurate tracking and reporting.
- For nannies: You must tag a family to every record.
- For parents: You must tag a nanny to every record.

3. Submit the form
- Once submitted, you’ll be redirected to the Records page, where entries matching the selected date range will be displayed.
Important notes
- You’ll need to create a Family with a Nanny before logging entries — this ensures all records are correctly assigned, tracked and calculated.
- Review records regularly to ensure all details are correct.
